"I came from Toronto. When I started looking with my son at many places in this area I skipped when I found this one, to me it was the nicest."
Dora Gunning

"My doctor said I should not live alone. When I put my house on the market it showed better with furniture so Concord lent me some until it sold."

Tatiana Kobasew

"I was so worried about moving, trying to make decisions about furniture and all the things that go with it!  The staff came out to my house and helped me get through it.  I don't know how I would have done it without them.
Thank goodness I am here"

The decision to move to Concord Retirement Residence is a wise one. At Concord we will do everything possible to make the transition easier.

Once you have made your decision to move, it is a very easy procedure to secure your apartment by doing the following:

  • Complete an application form.

  • Payment of the Community Fee will reserve the suite and process your residency application.

  • Once you have chosen a date of occupancy, we will sign a Residency Agreement together.  This agreement provides an outline of the commitments of services and facilities provided by Concord, as well as an outline of your responsibilities as the resident. This is a month to month agreement not a lease;

Prior to moving day, the following should be completed:

  • File a Change of Address with the post office;

  • Arrange for telephone service at your new residence. Call (604) 310-2255

  • Arrange for cablevision service at your new residence. Call (604) 629-8888

  • Make arrangements for movers. (Your move into Concord should be scheduled within business hours. We would also ask that you not have your things moved in during meal time.)

When you arrive:

  • We will introduce you to your new table companions and the Staff.

  • We will demonstrate your emergency response system.

  • We will be on hand to answer any questions and help you become familiar with your surroundings.

We will do our very best to make you feel comfortable and at home.
